FOUNDER & CLINICIAN
Dominique Black, LCSW
Licensed in Virginia, Maryland and Wyoming
Dominique founded Avenue Counseling to give young people and families a place to feel supported and challenged at the same time. She works with teens, college students, young adult women and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma and big life transitions.
Her approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other skills-based therapies. Together, clients look at the patterns in their thoughts, feelings and behaviors, and leave sessions with practical tools they can actually use.
Dominique has more than ten years of experience in children's mental and behavioral health across residential, community-based and outpatient settings. She is a Virginia Board of Social Work approved clinical supervisor, also approved in Wyoming, and is committed to developing the next generation of clinicians.

Camille LoRocco, MSW

Holding a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, Camille provides clinically sound, trauma-informed care to individuals and families navigating complex life stressors. As a military spouse of 30 years, she brings lived insight into resilience, transition, identity shifts and the layered emotions that often come with change and uncertainty.
Camille's clinical focus includes individuals affected by traumatic experiences, and children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression and trauma-related symptoms. She works from an integrative, evidence-based framework, tailoring treatment to each client's developmental, relational and cultural needs, with an emphasis on emotional safety, nervous system regulation and collaborative goal setting.
She is committed to a therapeutic space that is compassionate, structured and empowering, where clients feel genuinely heard and equipped to create meaningful, lasting change.
Camille provides services under the clinical supervision of Dominique Black, LCSW.
